Dear Fiber Broadband Association Members, Colleagues and Friends,
The Coronavirus pandemic and our “new normal” of how we stay connected to one another, conduct daily personal business, and continue to work or learn online from home, highlights the importance of the availability of high-speed, reliable, future-proof broadband more than ever before. We are proud of our FBA members who are working tirelessly to ensure the continued operation, maintenance and deployment of the critical fiber networks that we all rely on to support connectivity at home, to anchor institutions or as the underlying infrastructure to the towers and wireless networks upon which we all rely. Many of our members are finding ways to ensure fiber connections are being made available to the unserved and underserved. Fiber remains the critical infrastructure for all 21st century communications.
To continue to explore fiber as the critical infrastructure as well as other connectivity and workplace issues presented in these challenged times, FBA is launching its weekly 30 minute live video discussion, Fiber for Breakfast, Wednesdays at 10 a.m. eastern. Please join us for our second installment:
Fiber for Breakfast, Week Two, 4/8/2020: 2020 Covid 19 Pandemic Response: Will We Break the Internet?
