UTOPIA Fiber has released its 2020 end-of-year figures, which shows the fiber-optic network grew by 50%. UTOPIA Fiber, an inter-local agency owned by a consortium of 11 Utah cities, connected 10,200 new residential subscribers with 35,000 customers. The company also made services available to 20,500 new homes in its 15-city footprint. Meanwhile, residential bandwidth grew on its network by 38% per subscriber as more customers learned, worked and conducted business from home.
