Openreach and EXFO are partnering to launch a job creation program that will create 2,500 new positions within its organization and 2,800 more jobs with partner firms. The project also includes support for a full-fiber network build-out and a new tranche of construction work that will begin in March. The work will take place at 67 locations around the United Kingdom. Openreach awarded a contract to EXFO to supply optical test heads test access switching for the projects. EXFO says the project with Openreach will ensure delivery of next-generation fiber-to-the-premises networks and enhance the quality of build and experience for customers in the U.K.
