Hargray Fiber has acquired Electronet Broadband Communications (Electronet). The company offers voice, data, Internet, and long-distance services in Tallahassee, Fla. Electronet was also the first company to bring high-speed Internet to the city. Electronet President and CEO Paul Watts will remain with the company as market executive and all employees will be retained. Watts says the acquisition will result in faster speed, improve security, and greater reliability for customers.
