San Antonio, Texas, city staff have released a plan that will close the city's digital divide. The report examined the city's internet connectivity and areas where broadband internet was lacking. Fifty neighborhoods that need improved connectivity were identified. The report also helped guide decisions on a previously reported plan. The city will invest $27 million into the "Connected Beyond the Classroom” plan which will build infrastructure to connect students with their school networks.
